Translation of the meanings Ayah: (55) Surah: Al-Kahf
وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ قُبُلٗا
55. Qu’est-ce donc qui empêche les hommes de croire quand la bonne direction (hudâ) leur est venue ? (Et qu’est-ce donc qui les empêche) d’implorer le pardon de leur Seigneur, sinon qu’ils attendent d’être exposés au même sort que les premiers (peuples), ou voir fondre sur eux le châtiment ?
