Translation of the meanings Ayah: (124) Surah: Al-Baqarah
۞ وَإِذِ ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَٰتٖ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامٗاۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهۡدِي ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
124. Et (souviens-toi) quand ton Seigneur eut mis à l’épreuve Abraham par certaines prescriptions et que (celui-ci) les eut accomplies : « Je vais faire de toi un guide pour les gens », lui dit (Allah). « Et qu’en sera-t-il de ma descendance ? », répondit (Abraham). « Mon engagement n’est pas promis aux injustes. » répondit Allah.
