Translation of the meanings Ayah: (34) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
34. Et lorsque Nous ordonnâmes aux Anges : « Prosternez-vous devant Adam ! », tous se prosternèrent excepté Iblîs [20] qui refusa, s’enfla d’orgueil et fut du nombre des mécréants.
