Ayah: 29

أَئِنَّكُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقۡطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأۡتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱئۡتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
29. Coucherez-vous donc avec les hommes ? Briganderez-vous sur les grands chemins ?[393] Commettrez-vous les actes condamnables au cours de vos réunions ? » Pour toute réponse, son peuple eut ces mots : « Fais que s’abatte sur nous le supplice d’Allah si tu dis vrai ! »
[393] La traduction française exacte de l’expression arabe قاطع الطريق est : « voleur de grand chemin ».
