Translation of the meanings Ayah: (23) Surah: Az-Zukhruf
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقۡتَدُونَ
23. C’est ainsi que Nous n’avons jamais envoyé avant toi un (Messager) pour avertir une cité, sans que les plus opulents de ses habitants n’aient déclaré : « Nous avons trouvé nos ancêtres embrassant telle religion, et nous suivrons leur exemple. »
