Translation of the meanings Ayah: (7) Surah: Nūh
وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا
7. Chaque fois que je les appelais pour que Tu leur pardonnes (leurs péchés), ils se bouchaient les oreilles avec leurs doigts, s’emmitouflaient dans leurs vêtements, et s’obstinaient, orgueilleux et dédaigneux.
