Translation of the meanings Ayah: (118) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ لَوۡلَا يُكَلِّمُنَا ٱللَّهُ أَوۡ تَأۡتِينَآ ءَايَةٞۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّثۡلَ قَوۡلِهِمۡۘ تَشَٰبَهَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ قَدۡ بَيَّنَّا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يُوقِنُونَ
118 Les ignorants disent : « Si seulement Allah nous adressait la parole ou si un miracle était produit sous nos yeux. » Paroles identiques à celles prononcées par leurs devanciers dont les cœurs étaient tout aussi fermés à la vérité. Nos signes sont pourtant suffisamment clairs pour des hommes qui croient avec certitude.
