Translation of the meanings Ayah: (140) Surah: Al-Baqarah
أَمۡ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ وَٱلۡأَسۡبَاطَ كَانُواْ هُودًا أَوۡ نَصَٰرَىٰۗ قُلۡ ءَأَنتُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ أَمِ ٱللَّهُۗ وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَٰدَةً عِندَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ
140 Ou bien prétendrez-vous qu’Abraham, Ismaël, Isaac, Jacob et les fils d’Israël étaient juifs ou chrétiens ? Dis-leur : « Qui de vous ou d’Allah sait le mieux ce qu’il en est ? » Qui est plus injuste que celui qui dissimule une vérité qu’il tient d’Allah ? Allah n’est certainement pas inattentif à vos agissements.
