Translation of the meanings Ayah: (49) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَإِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٞ
49 Souvenez-vous lorsque Nous avons délivré vos ancêtres de Pharaon et de ses sujets qui leur infligeaient les pires tourments en égorgeant leurs fils, n’épargnant que leurs filles. Ce fut là une terrible épreuve[32] de la part de votre Seigneur.
[32] Ou : une grâce immense, si le pronom « ce » renvoie à la délivrance des Hébreux et leur sortie d’Egypte.
