Translation of the meanings Ayah: (78) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَمِنۡهُمۡ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّآ أَمَانِيَّ وَإِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ
78 Certains parmi eux, totalement illettrés, ne connaissent de l’Ecriture que sa récitation qu’ils se contentent de répéter sans en comprendre la signification[44].
[44] Autre sens : certains parmi eux, totalement illettrés et ne connaissant pas les Ecritures, se bercent d’illusions et se contentent d’avancer de simples suppositions. Autre sens encore : certains, parmi eux, totalement illettrés, ne connaissent de l’Ecriture que des mensonges.
