Translation of the meanings Ayah: (23) Surah: Al-Qasas
وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَآءَ مَدۡيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيۡهِ أُمَّةٗ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ ٱمۡرَأَتَيۡنِ تَذُودَانِۖ قَالَ مَا خَطۡبُكُمَاۖ قَالَتَا لَا نَسۡقِي حَتَّىٰ يُصۡدِرَ ٱلرِّعَآءُۖ وَأَبُونَا شَيۡخٞ كَبِيرٞ
23 Parvenu au puits de Madian, il trouva un groupe d’hommes abreuvant leurs troupeaux, tandis que deux femmes, en retrait, retenaient leurs bêtes. Moïse leur demanda : « Pourquoi restez-vous à l’écart ? » « Nous n’abreuverons nos bêtes qu’après le départ des bergers. Notre père est bien trop âgé[1009] », répondirent les deux femmes.
[1009] Pour abreuver lui-même son troupeau.
