Translation of the meanings Ayah: (22) Surah: An-Nisā’
وَلَا تَنكِحُواْ مَا نَكَحَ ءَابَآؤُكُم مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ إِلَّا مَا قَدۡ سَلَفَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَٰحِشَةٗ وَمَقۡتٗا وَسَآءَ سَبِيلًا
22 Gardez-vous de prendre pour femmes les anciennes épouses de vos pères, exception faite du passé[253]. Voilà un acte infâme, une attitude haïssable et une pratique odieuse !
[253] Quiconque a contracté un tel mariage dans le passé n’a pas commis de péché.
