Translation of the meanings Ayah: (31) Surah: Al-Anfāl

Ayah: 31

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدۡ سَمِعۡنَا لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَقُلۡنَا مِثۡلَ هَٰذَآ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
31 Lorsque Nos versets leur sont récités, ils disent : « Nous avons déjà entendu ce genre de récits[495] ! Nous pourrions, si nous le voulions, en produire de semblables. Ce ne sont là que légendes des temps anciens ! »
[495] Ou : nous t’avons bien entendu.
