AZ-ZALZALAH

Ayah: 1

إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا
1 Lorsque la terre subira une violente secousse,

Ayah: 2

وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا
2 au point de rejeter ses fardeaux à sa surface[1603],
[1603] Les morts enterrés en son sein, qui sortiront de terre le Jour de la résurrection.

Ayah: 3

وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا
3 et que l’homme se demandera ce qui lui arrive,

يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا
4 ce Jour-là, elle livrera l’ensemble de ses secrets[1604],
[1604] Les œuvres, bonnes ou mauvaises, accomplies à la surface de la terre par les hommes, selon nombre d’exégètes.

Ayah: 5

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا
5 se pliant ainsi à la volonté de ton Seigneur.

يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
6 Ce Jour-là, les hommes quitteront séparément le lieu de leur rassemblement afin que chacun découvre la rétribution de ses œuvres.

فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ
7 Quiconque aura accompli une once de bien le verra.

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ
8 Et quiconque aura commis une once de mal le verra.
