قَالَ هَلۡ ءَامَنُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ إِلَّا كَمَآ أَمِنتُكُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَخِيهِ مِن قَبۡلُ فَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرٌ حَٰفِظٗاۖ وَهُوَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
O maaki: "Hara mi hooloray on e fii makko, si wonaa no mi hoolornoo on non e musiɗɗo-neene-gooto makko on ko adii? Ko Alla woni moƴƴo deenoowo, ko Kaŋko ɓuri moƴƴude yurmotooɓe ɓeen".
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:
وَلَمَّا فَتَحُواْ مَتَٰعَهُمۡ وَجَدُواْ بِضَٰعَتَهُمۡ رُدَّتۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡۖ قَالُواْ يَٰٓأَبَانَا مَا نَبۡغِيۖ هَٰذِهِۦ بِضَٰعَتُنَا رُدَّتۡ إِلَيۡنَاۖ وَنَمِيرُ أَهۡلَنَا وَنَحۡفَظُ أَخَانَا وَنَزۡدَادُ كَيۡلَ بَعِيرٖۖ ذَٰلِكَ كَيۡلٞ يَسِيرٞ
Nde ɓe ngudditunoo doŋle maɓɓe ɗeen, ɓe tawi cogguuji(njigguuji) maɓɓe ɗin ruttaama e maɓɓe. Ɓe mbi'i: "eeyma yo ben amen, ko men ɗaɓɓata [kadi]? Ɗii ko cogguuji amen, ɗi nduttaama e amen. Miɗen njiggana yimɓe amen, men ndeena musiɗɗo amen on, men ɓeydora ɓetu ngelooba; ɗuum ko ɓetu newiingu".

قَالَ لَنۡ أُرۡسِلَهُۥ مَعَكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ تُؤۡتُونِ مَوۡثِقٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَتَأۡتُنَّنِي بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُحَاطَ بِكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَوۡهُ مَوۡثِقَهُمۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٞ
O maaki: "Mi immindintaa(neldatah) mo e mooɗon haa ƴettanon mi ahadi ka Alla, won´de on ngrtiranat kam mo si wonaa hara on kuɓinda". Ɓaawo ɓe ƴettanii mo ahadi maɓɓe ndin, o maaki: "Alla e dow ko wowluɗen kon, ko o deenoowo".

وَقَالَ يَٰبَنِيَّ لَا تَدۡخُلُواْ مِنۢ بَابٖ وَٰحِدٖ وَٱدۡخُلُواْ مِنۡ أَبۡوَٰبٖ مُّتَفَرِّقَةٖۖ وَمَآ أُغۡنِي عَنكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٍۖ إِنِ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِۖ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَعَلَيۡهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
O maaki: "eeheymin ɓiɗɓe am, wota on naatiroy e damal gootal, naatiree e dame ceertuɗe. Mi dun-cantaa on e (muyɗe) Alla hay e huunde. Ñaawoore alanaa si wonaa Alla: Ko e makko mi fawii, ko e makko kadi, yo fawo fawotooɓe ɓeen".

وَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ أَمَرَهُمۡ أَبُوهُم مَّا كَانَ يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا حَاجَةٗ فِي نَفۡسِ يَعۡقُوبَ قَضَىٰهَاۚ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذُو عِلۡمٖ لِّمَا عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Nde ɓe naatirnoo nokku ka baaba maɓɓe yamirnoo ɓe ɗon, ɗum wonaano no duncana ɓe [ko iwri] ka Alla si wanaa haaju wonunooɗo e fittaandu Yaaquuba mo o gasini. Kaŋko on, ko o jom-ganndal ngal min anndini mo. Kono ko ɓuri ɗuuɗude e yimɓe ɓen ɓe nganndaa.

وَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ ءَاوَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِ أَخَاهُۖ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا۠ أَخُوكَ فَلَا تَبۡتَئِسۡ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
Nde ɓe naatnoo ka Yuusufa, o maɓɓi musiɗɗo-neene-gooto makko on e makko, o maaki: "Ko mi musiɗɗo-neene-gooto maa, wata a sunor ko ɓe ngollatnoo".
