Ayah: 18

قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِي لَنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ وَلَٰكِن مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَسُواْ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَكَانُواْ قَوۡمَۢا بُورٗا
Sie werden sagen: "Preis Dir! Es geziemte uns nicht, andere Beschützer als Dich anzunehmen; Du aber beschertest ihnen und ihren Vätern die guten Dinge (dieses Lebens), bis sie die Ermahnung vergaßen und ein verlorenes Volk wurden."
