Translation of the meanings Ayah: (5) Surah: Fussilat

Ayah: 5

وَقَالُواْ قُلُوبُنَا فِيٓ أَكِنَّةٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَآ إِلَيۡهِ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِنَا وَقۡرٞ وَمِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا وَبَيۡنِكَ حِجَابٞ فَٱعۡمَلۡ إِنَّنَا عَٰمِلُونَ
Und sie sagen: „Unsere Herzen sind in Hüllen (bedeckt) vor dem, wozu du uns aufrufst, und in unseren Ohren ist Schwerhörigkeit, und zwischen uns und dir ist ein Vorhang. Handle also, wir werden ebenfalls handeln.“
