Translation of the meanings Ayah: (20) Surah: Yūnus
وَيَقُولُونَ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۖ فَقُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡغَيۡبُ لِلَّهِ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ
Λένε (οι ειδωλολάτρες): «Αν του στελνόταν ένα σημάδι από τον Κύριό του (απ' αυτά που ζητήσαμε, όπως το να μετατρέψει το λόφο Ασ-Σάφα σε χρυσό ή να αφαιρέσει τα βουνά της Μάκκας και να κάνει στις θέσεις τους κήπους, για να πιστέψουμε)!» Πες (ω, Προφήτη): «Τα αόρατα ανήκουν μόνο στον Αλλάχ (και το να σταλθούν τα Σημάδια είναι κάτι από τα αόρατα, και μόνο Αυτός ξέρει αν τα ζητήσατε για να πιστέψετε ή από αλαζονεία και ισχυρογνωμοσύνη)! Περιμένετε λοιπόν (να κρίνει ο Αλλάχ μεταξύ μας), κι εγώ περιμένω μαζί σας.»
