Ayah: 8

وَلَئِنۡ أَخَّرۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ مَّعۡدُودَةٖ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحۡبِسُهُۥٓۗ أَلَا يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمۡ لَيۡسَ مَصۡرُوفًا عَنۡهُمۡ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
Αν καθυστερούσαμε την τιμωρία τους για ένα προκαθορισμένο χρόνο, θα έλεγαν (χλευάζοντας): «Τι την εμποδίζει (την τιμωρία);» Πράγματι, την ημέρα που θα τους έρθει, δε θα αποτραπεί απ' αυτούς. Kαι θα τους περικυκλώσει (και θα πέσει πάνω τους) αυτό που χλεύαζαν.
