Translation of the meanings Ayah: (87) Surah: Hūd
قَالُواْ يَٰشُعَيۡبُ أَصَلَوٰتُكَ تَأۡمُرُكَ أَن نَّتۡرُكَ مَا يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَآ أَوۡ أَن نَّفۡعَلَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِنَا مَا نَشَٰٓؤُاْۖ إِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ ٱلۡحَلِيمُ ٱلرَّشِيدُ
Είπαν: «Ω, Σου‘άιμπ! H προσευχή σου σε διατάζει να εγκαταλείψουμε ό,τι λάτρευαν οι πρόγονοί μας (από είδωλα) ή να μη διαχειριζόμαστε τα πλούτη μας όπως θέλουμε (με το να κερδίσουμε με εξαπάτηση); [Συνέχισαν χλευάζοντάς τον] πράγματι, είσαι μακρόθυμος και λογικός άνθρωπος (ενώ έτσι εμείς και οι πρόγονοί μας είμαστε οι ανόητοι)!»
