Ayah: 23

وَرَٰوَدَتۡهُ ٱلَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيۡتِهَا عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ وَغَلَّقَتِ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبَ وَقَالَتۡ هَيۡتَ لَكَۚ قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهُۥ رَبِّيٓ أَحۡسَنَ مَثۡوَايَۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
Όμως εκείνη, στο σπίτι της οποίας βρισκόταν (ο Ιωσήφ ως υπηρέτης), προσπάθησε να τον αποπλανήσει. Έκλεισε τις πόρτες και είπε: «Έλα εδώ σε μένα!» Αυτός είπε: «Αναζητώ καταφύγιο στον Αλλάχ! Στ’ αλήθεια, (ο σύζυγός σου) ο αφέντης μου μου φέρθηκε κάλλιστα στη διαμονή μου εδώ (και ποτέ δε θα τον προδώσω)! Στ’ αλήθεια, οι άδικοι δε θα επιτύχουν ποτέ.»
