Ayah: 77

۞ قَالُوٓاْ إِن يَسۡرِقۡ فَقَدۡ سَرَقَ أَخٞ لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُۚ فَأَسَرَّهَا يُوسُفُ فِي نَفۡسِهِۦ وَلَمۡ يُبۡدِهَا لَهُمۡۚ قَالَ أَنتُمۡ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗاۖ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَصِفُونَ
Είπαν: «Αν έκλεψε (τότε δεν είναι περίεργο), γιατί και ένας αδελφός του (δηλ. ο Ιωσήφ) είχε κλέψει πριν (ένα είδωλο του παππού του από την πλευρά της μητέρας του, για να το σπάσει).» Ο Ιωσήφ το κράτησε (αυτό που είπαν) μέσα του και δεν τους το φανέρωσε, και είπε (μέσα του): «Είστε σε χειρότερη θέση (ενώπιον του Αλλάχ λόγω αυτών που κάνατε και της ζήλιας σας). Και ο Αλλάχ γνωρίζει καλύτερα (την αλήθεια γι') αυτό που περιγράφετε (ψευδώς).»
