Ayah: 10

۞ قَالَتۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ أَفِي ٱللَّهِ شَكّٞ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ لِيَغۡفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ قَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأۡتُونَا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ
Οι Αγγελιαφόροι τους, είπαν: «Είναι δυνατόν να υπάρχει αμφιβολία για τον Αλλάχ, τον Δημιουργό των ουρανών και της Γης; Σας καλεί (στην πίστη) για να συγχωρήσει κάποιες από τις αμαρτίες σας και να σας δώσει αναβολή (μη στέλνοντας σε σας μία τιμωρία που να σας εξοντώσει) μέχρι ένα προκαθορισμένο χρόνο (του τέλους της ζωής σας).» Είπαν: «Εσείς δεν είστε παρά άνθρωποι σαν εμάς! Θέλετε να μας αποτρέψετε από ό,τι (είδωλα) λάτρευαν οι προπάτορές μας. Φέρτε μας λοιπόν μια ξεκάθαρη απόδειξη!»
