Ayah: 10

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَل لِّيٓ ءَايَةٗۖ قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَٰثَ لَيَالٖ سَوِيّٗا
(Ο Ζαχαρίας) είπε: «Κύριέ μου! Δώσε μου ένα σημάδι (με το οποίο να γνωρίζω ότι η γυναίκα μου έμεινε έγκυος).» Είπε: «Το σημάδι σου είναι ότι δε θα μπορείς να μιλήσεις στους ανθρώπους για τρεις συνεχόμενες νύχτες (δηλ. μέρες), παρόλο που θα είσαι υγιής (και όχι βουβός, αλλά θα μπορείς μόνο να εξυμνείς τον Αλλάχ).»
