Translation of the meanings Ayah: (145) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَلَئِنۡ أَتَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِكُلِّ ءَايَةٖ مَّا تَبِعُواْ قِبۡلَتَكَۚ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِتَابِعٖ قِبۡلَتَهُمۡۚ وَمَا بَعۡضُهُم بِتَابِعٖ قِبۡلَةَ بَعۡضٖۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ إِنَّكَ إِذٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Ακόμα και αν έφερνες σ’ αυτούς (Χριστιανούς και Εβραίους) στους οποίους έχει δοθεί το Βιβλίο κάθε σημάδι (και απόδειξη ότι η στροφή σου προς τη Μάκκα κατά την προσευχή είναι η αλήθεια από τον Κύριό σου), δεν θα ακολουθούσαν την Κίμπλα (κατεύθυνση της προσευχής) σου (από αλαζονεία και ισχυρογνωμοσύνη). Ούτε εσύ θα ακολουθήσεις την Κίμπλα τους. Ούτε κανένας απ’ αυτούς ακολουθεί την Κίμπλα του άλλου. Και εάν ήταν να ακολουθούσες τις επιθυμίες τους μετά από ό,τι έχει έλθει σε εσένα από γνώση, πράγματι, θα ήσουν ένας από τους άδικους.
