Ayah: 179

وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٞ يَٰٓأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ
Και υπάρχει για σας στο Αλ-Κισάς (τον νόμο της ισότητας μεταξύ του εγκλήματος και της ποινής -οφθαλμόν αντί οφθαλμού, οδόντα αντί οδόντος-), ζωή (δηλ. σωτηρία για τις ζωές σας από όποιον θέλει να σας επιτεθεί), ω, άνθρωποι που αντιλαμβάνεστε, μήπως και φυλαχθείτε (από την τιμωρία του Αλλάχ μέσω της τήρησης των εντολών Του).
