Ayah: 5

بَلۡ قَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمِۭ بَلِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُ بَلۡ هُوَ شَاعِرٞ فَلۡيَأۡتِنَا بِـَٔايَةٖ كَمَآ أُرۡسِلَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
(Δεν πιστεύουν ότι το Κορ’άν στάλθηκε από τον Αλλάχ) αλλά (κάποια φορά κάποιοι απ' αυτούς) λένε: «Αυτό (το Κορ’άν) είναι μπερδεμένα όνειρα (που τα είδε ο Μωχάμμαντ)!» (Άλλη φορά άλλοι λένε): «Όχι (δεν είναι έτσι), αλλά το έχει κατασκευάσει!» (Άλλη φορά άλλοι λένε): «Όχι (δεν είναι έτσι), αλλά (ο Μωχάμμαντ) είναι ένας ποιητής! Ας μας φέρει, λοιπόν, ένα Σημάδι, όπως στάλθηκαν οι προηγούμενοι Αγγελιαφόροι (με Σημάδια προς τους λαούς τους).»
