Ayah: 3

وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ فَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
Πράγματι, δοκιμάζαμε εκείνους που ήταν πριν απ' αυτούς, για να ξέρει ο Αλλάχ (-αυτό που ήδη ξέρει- δηλ. να εμφανιστεί σε σας και να διαχωρίσει) τους ειλικρινείς (στην πίστη τους), και να ξέρει τους ψεύτες.
