Ayah: 12

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا لُقۡمَٰنَ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ أَنِ ٱشۡكُرۡ لِلَّهِۚ وَمَن يَشۡكُرۡ فَإِنَّمَا يَشۡكُرُ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٞ
Πράγματι, δώσαμε στον Λουκμάν τη σοφία (την κατανόηση στη θρησκεία και την ορθή κρίση), (λέγοντας): «Δείξε ευγνωμοσύνη προς τον Αλλάχ.» Όποιος είναι ευγνώμων, θα είναι μόνο για το καλό του, και όποιος είναι αχάριστος, τότε πράγματι ο Αλλάχ είναι Γανέι (Ελεύθερος από κάθε ανάγκη, Πλούσιος) και Χαμείντ (Άξιος κάθε επαίνου).
