Ayah: 17

ٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلۡأَيۡدِۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
Δείξε λοιπόν (ω, Μωχάμμαντ) υπομονή για ό,τι λένε (οι άπιστοι). Και ανάφερε τον δούλο Μας, Δαβίδ, που είχε δύναμη (στη λατρεία και στην υπακοή προς Εμάς, και ενάντια στους εχθρούς του) και (δόξαζε πολύ Εμάς, και) στρεφόταν συνεχώς με μεταμέλεια προς Εμάς.
