Ayah: 41

وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ بِنُصۡبٖ وَعَذَابٍ
(Ανάφερε, ω, Προφήτη) τον δούλο Μας, τον Ιώβ, όταν επικαλέστηκε τον Κύριό του [αφού έμεινε άρρωστος αρκετά χρόνια, οι άνθρωποι απομακρύνθηκαν απ' αυτόν -εκτός από τη γυναίκα του και δύο φίλους του- και έχασε τα πλούτη του]: «Μου προκάλεσε ο Σατανάς πόνους και κακουχίες (στο σώμα, στον πλούτο και στην οικογένειά μου).»
