Translation of the meanings Ayah: (49) Surah: Al-Mā’idah
وَأَنِ ٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ وَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡ أَن يَفۡتِنُوكَ عَنۢ بَعۡضِ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيۡكَۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعۡضِ ذُنُوبِهِمۡۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَفَٰسِقُونَ
Κρίνε, λοιπόν, (ω, Μωχάμμαντ) ανάμεσά τους μ’ αυτό που έστειλε ο Αλλάχ και μην ακολουθείς τους μάταιους πόθους τους. Και πρόσεξε απ' αυτούς να μη σε στρέψουν μακριά από κάποια απ’ αυτά που έστειλε ο Αλλάχ σ’ εσένα. Αν όμως απομακρυνθούν (απ' αυτά που έκρινες), τότε να ξέρεις ότι αυτό έγινε επειδή ο Αλλάχ θέλει να τους τιμωρήσει (δηλ. να τους απομακρύνει από την καθοδήγηση) για κάποιες από τις αμαρτίες τους. Και στ’ αλήθεια, πολύ άνθρωποι είναι ανυπάκουοι.
