Ayah: 124

وَإِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ءَايَةٞ قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤۡتَىٰ مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ حَيۡثُ يَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥۗ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ صَغَارٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعَذَابٞ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَمۡكُرُونَ
Όταν τους έρχεται (στους ειδωλολάτρες) ένα σημάδι (και απόδειξη), λένε: «Δε θα πιστέψουμε ποτέ μέχρι να μας δοθεί το ίδιο μ’ αυτό που δόθηκε στους Αγγελιαφόρους του Αλλάχ (από αποκάλυψη και θαύματα).» Ο Αλλάχ ξέρει καλύτερα πού να τοποθετήσει το Μήνυμά Του. Θα πέσει πάνω σ’ αυτούς που διέπρατταν το κακό (και την απιστία) μία ατίμωση από τον Αλλάχ και θα έχουν οδυνηρό μαρτύριο για ό,τι συνωμοτούσαν.
