Ayah: 42

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
Πράγματι, είχαμε στείλει Αγγελιαφόρους σε έθνη πριν από σένα (ω, Μωχάμμαντ, αλλά τους διέψευσαν), και έτσι τους τιμωρήσαμε με φτώχεια και ασθένειες, μήπως και επικαλεστούν (τον Αλλάχ) με ταπεινοφροσύνη και υποταγή.
