Ayah: 12

وَمَرۡيَمَ ٱبۡنَتَ عِمۡرَٰنَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَحۡصَنَتۡ فَرۡجَهَا فَنَفَخۡنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتۡ بِكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَكَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ

Και (επίσης προβάλλει ως καλό παράδειγμα για τους Μουσουλμάνους) τη Μαρία (τη μητέρα του Ιησού), την κόρη του ‘Ιμράν, η οποία φύλαξε την αγνότητά της. Κι έτσι, διατάξαμε τον άγγελό Μας (τον Γαβριήλ) να εμφυσήσει σε μια σχισμή στο ένδυμά της (και έτσι συνέλαβε τον Ιησού), και εκείνη πίστεψε στα λόγια του Κυρίου της, και στα Βιβλία Του, και ήταν από τους ευλαβικά υπάκουους.
