Translation of the meanings Ayah: (133) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلطُّوفَانَ وَٱلۡجَرَادَ وَٱلۡقُمَّلَ وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ وَٱلدَّمَ ءَايَٰتٖ مُّفَصَّلَٰتٖ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا مُّجۡرِمِينَ
Έτσι, στείλαμε σ' αυτούς πλημμύρα (που κατέστρεψε τις καλλιέργειές τους), ακρίδες (που έφαγαν τις σοδειές τους), ψείρες (που τους έβλαψαν τα μαλλιά τους), βατράχους (που γέμισαν τα σκεύη και τα κρεβάτια τους) και αίμα (που γέμισε τα πηγάδια και τα ποτάμια τους) - ως σαφή και διάφορα σημάδια (που διαδέχεται το ένα το άλλο), αλλά επέμειναν στην αλαζονεία και ήταν ένας κακός λαός.
