Ayah: 141

وَإِذۡ أَنجَيۡنَٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٞ
Και (θυμηθείτε, ω, παιδιά του Ισραήλ) όταν σας σώσαμε από τον λαό του Φαραώ, που σας έκαναν να γευτείτε ένα τρομερό μαρτύριο: έσφαξαν τους γιους σας και άφησαν (τις κόρες και) τις γυναίκες σας να ζήσουν (ως δούλες). Και σ' αυτό (ότι σας σώσαμε) υπήρχε μια μεγάλη δοκιμασία από τον Κύριό σας (αν θα ήσασταν ευγνώμονες μετά απ' αυτό ή όχι)!
