Ayah: 53

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمۡ يَكُ مُغَيِّرٗا نِّعۡمَةً أَنۡعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ
Αυτή (η αυστηρή τιμωρία) έγινε επειδή ο Αλλάχ δε θα άλλαζε ποτέ μία εύνοια που έχει χαρίσει σε έναν λαό, μέχρι να αλλάξουν (οι άνθρωποι απ' εκείνο τον λαό) την κατάστασή τους (από την πίστη και την ευγνωμοσύνη προς τις χάρες του Αλλάχ, στην απιστία και την αγνωμοσύνη). Πράγματι, ο Αλλάχ είναι Σαμεί‘ (Αυτός που ακούει τα πάντα) και ‘Αλείμ (Παντογνώστης).
