Ayah: 4

وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ
Και στ’ αλήθεια, εκείνοι στους οποίους δόθηκε το Βιβλίο (Εβραίοι και Χριστιανοί, που περίμεναν όλοι τον ερχομό ενός Προφήτη) δεν διέφεραν μεταξύ τους (σχετικά μ' αυτόν) παρά μόνο αφού τους ήρθε η σαφής απόδειξη (δηλ. ο Προφήτης Μωχάμμαντ που πληροί τις περιγραφές που αναφέρονται στις Γραφές τους, και έτσι διαφώνησαν μεταξύ τους, και κάποιοι απ' αυτούς πίστεψαν σ' αυτόν ενώ άλλοι τον αρνήθηκαν).
