حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ یٰلَیْتَ بَیْنِیْ وَبَیْنَكَ بُعْدَ الْمَشْرِقَیْنِ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرِیْنُ ۟

૩૮) ત્યાં સુધી કે જ્યારે તે અમારી પાસે આવશે, તો (પોતાના મિત્રને)કહેશે કે કાશ ! મારી અને તારી વચ્ચે પૂર્વ અને પશ્ચિમ જેટલું અંતર હોત, તું ઘણો જ ખરાબ મિત્ર છે.
