Translation of the meanings Ayah: (240) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوۡنَ مِنكُمۡ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزۡوَٰجٗا وَصِيَّةٗ لِّأَزۡوَٰجِهِم مَّتَٰعًا إِلَى ٱلۡحَوۡلِ غَيۡرَ إِخۡرَاجٖۚ فَإِنۡ خَرَجۡنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي مَا فَعَلۡنَ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ مِن مَّعۡرُوفٖۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ
240 אלה אשר ייפטרו וישאירו נשים (אלמנות) אחריהם, יש לצוות לנשים פרנסה למשך שנה שלמה, ולהישאר במשך שנה בבית שגרו בו. אולם, אם תעזובנה את הבית מרצונן, אתם (היורשים) אינכם אחראים למה שתעשינה בעצמן בגדר המקובל. אללה הוא העזוז החכם.
