Translation of the meanings Ayah: (118) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةٗ مِّن دُونِكُمۡ لَا يَأۡلُونَكُمۡ خَبَالٗا وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمۡ قَدۡ بَدَتِ ٱلۡبَغۡضَآءُ مِنۡ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَمَا تُخۡفِي صُدُورُهُمۡ أَكۡبَرُۚ قَدۡ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِۖ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ
118 הוי אלה אשר האמינו! אל תיקחו לכם ידידים מקורבים שאינם מקרבכם (כופרים), כי אינם מרפים לגרום לכם צרות ממושכות. הם תמיד מקווים שתסבלו, תמיד הם מביעים בפיהם שנאה כלפיהם, אך זה אשר מעלימים בלבם קשה יותר. כבר הבהרנו לכם את האותות, אילו הייתם מבינים.
