Translation of the meanings Ayah: (152) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
وَلَقَدۡ صَدَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥٓ إِذۡ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذۡنِهِۦۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَشِلۡتُمۡ وَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِ وَعَصَيۡتُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَآ أَرَىٰكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَۚ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمۡ عَنۡهُمۡ لِيَبۡتَلِيَكُمۡۖ وَلَقَدۡ عَفَا عَنكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
152 אללה קיים את הבטחתו לכם כשהבסתם אותם (את אויביכם) ברשותו, עד אשר נכשלתם ונפל הסכסוך בינכם, ולא פעלתם לפי הוראות הנביא, ואולם לאחר שהראה לכם את אשר אהבתם (את השלל), משום שהיו בינכם כאלה שרצו ברכוש העולם הזה והיו כאלה שרצו בגמול בעולם הבא. לכן הוא מנע מכם להביס אותם, וזה כדי לבחון אתכם. ובסוף סלח לכם. כי אללה רב-חסד למאמינים.
