Translation of the meanings Ayah: (142) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
۞ وَوَٰعَدۡنَا مُوسَىٰ ثَلَٰثِينَ لَيۡلَةٗ وَأَتۡمَمۡنَٰهَا بِعَشۡرٖ فَتَمَّ مِيقَٰتُ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَرۡبَعِينَ لَيۡلَةٗۚ وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَخِيهِ هَٰرُونَ ٱخۡلُفۡنِي فِي قَوۡمِي وَأَصۡلِحۡ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ سَبِيلَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
142 וקבענו למשה מועד אתנו, שלושים יום והשלמנו בעוד עשרה (ימים), וכך מלאו לו ארבעים יום למועד אצל ריבונו, אמר משה לאחיו אהרון, “מלא את מקומי בהנהגת בני עמי ועשה את הטוב ואל תלך בעקבות המשחיתים”.
