Translation of the meanings Ayah: (42) Surah: At-Tawbah
لَوۡ كَانَ عَرَضٗا قَرِيبٗا وَسَفَرٗا قَاصِدٗا لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ وَلَٰكِنۢ بَعُدَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلشُّقَّةُۚ وَسَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَوِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡنَا لَخَرَجۡنَا مَعَكُمۡ يُهۡلِكُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
42 לו זה היה שלל שזוכים בו ללא מאמץ והדרך קצרה וקלה, היו מצטרפים אליך, אך המרחק היה ארוך וקשה יותר מדי בשבילם. והם יישבעו באללה, “לו יכולנו היינו יוצאים אתכם” (ובשבועת שקר כזו) יביאו כיליון על עצמם, כי אללה יודע שהם אכן משקרים.
