Ayah: 42

قُلْ لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهٗۤ اٰلِهَةٌ كَمَا یَقُوْلُوْنَ اِذًا لَّابْتَغَوْا اِلٰی ذِی الْعَرْشِ سَبِیْلًا ۟
आप कह दें कि यदि अल्लाह के साथ दूसरे पूज्य (भी) होते, जैसा कि वे (मुश्रिक) कहते हैं, तो वे अर्श (सिंहासन) वाले (अल्लाह) की ओर (पहुँचने की) अवश्य कोई राह खोजते।[25]
25. ताकि उससे संघर्ष करके अपना प्रभुत्व स्थापित कर लें।
