Ayah: 23

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ بِالنُّذُرِ ۟
समूद[3] ने डराने वालों को झुठलाया।
3. यह सालेह (अलैहिस्सलाम) की जाति थी। उन्होंने उनसे चमत्कार की माँग की, तो अल्लाह ने पर्वत से एक ऊँटनी निकाल दी। फिर भी वे ईमान नहीं लाए। क्योंकि उनके विचार से अल्लाह का रसूल कोई मनुष्य नहीं, फ़रिश्ता होना चाहिए था। जैसाकि मक्का के मुश्रिकों का विचार था।
