Ayah: 42

وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَاۤ اِلٰۤی اُمَمٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِالْبَاْسَآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَتَضَرَّعُوْنَ ۟
और निःसंदेह हमने आपसे पहले कई समुदायों की ओर रसूल भेजे, फिर हमने उन्हें दरिद्रता और कष्ट के साथ पकड़ा, ताकि वे गिड़गिड़ाएँ।[34]
34. अर्थात ताकि अल्लाह से विनय करें और उस के सामने झुक जाएँ।
