اَفَنَجْعَلُ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ كَالْمُجْرِمِیْنَ ۟ؕ
तो क्या हम आज्ञाकारियों[8] को अपराध करने वालों की तरह कर देंगे?
8. मक्का के प्रमुख कहते थे कि यदि प्रलय हुई, तो वहाँ भी हमें यही सांसारिक सुख-सुविधा प्राप्त होगी। जिसका इस आयत में खंडन किया जा रहा है। अभिप्राय यह है कि अल्लाह के यहाँ देर है, परंतु अँधेर नहीं है।
