Translation of the meanings Ayah: (51) Surah: Al-Baqarah

Ayah: 51

وَإِذۡ وَٰعَدۡنَا مُوسَىٰٓ أَرۡبَعِينَ لَيۡلَةٗ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذۡتُمُ ٱلۡعِجۡلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمۡ ظَٰلِمُونَ
E ricordate, tra queste grazie, il nostro incontro con Mūsā per quaranta notti, affinché venisse completata la rivelazione della Torāh, Luce e Guida; dopodiché, in quel periodo, non avete fatto altro che adorare il vitello, e siete stati ingiusti nel farlo.

• عِظَمُ نعم الله وكثرتها على بني إسرائيل، ومع هذا لم تزدهم إلا تكبُّرًا وعنادًا.
Immensa fu la grazia di Allāh e la sua abbondanza nei confronti dei figli di Israīl, e con questo non fece che aumentare la loro arroganza e ostinazione.
• سَعَةُ حِلم الله تعالى ورحمته بعباده، وإن عظمت ذنوبهم.
La grandezza della pietà di Allāh L'Altissimo e la Sua Misericordia avvolgono i suoi sudditi, anche se i loro peccati sono grandi.
• الوحي هو الفَيْصَلُ بين الحق والباطل.
La rivelazione divina è il criterio tra verità e falsità.
